An established, market-leading UK business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its Financial Control team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified/part qualified finance professional to take ownership of operating expenditure and margin reporting while supporting regional performance across a multi-site environment.

The Role

• You will be responsible for the accurate reporting and analysis of OPEX and margin, ensuring financial results are delivered in line with internal and Group deadlines.
• Ownership of month-end OPEX and margin reporting, including accruals and prepayments
• Delivering insightful variance analysis (actual vs budget) to Finance Business Partners and regional stakeholders
• Ensuring accurate allocation of costs across branch cost centres
• Full ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain ledger integrity
• Supporting and developing junior finance team members
• This is a visible role requiring strong stakeholder engagement across operational and regional teams.

About You

• Part qualified considered or professionally qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Strong month-end and financial control experience
• Proven ability to deliver detailed variance analysis and interpret financial data
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
